&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A graduate of the University of Florida, Marcy J. Levinson is a full-time journalist with the Atlanta Jewish Times where she writes, is the staff photographer and hosts a radio show each Sunday on Radio Sandy Springs called Jewish Brunch with the JT Bunch. A life-long artist in music (both vocal and songwriting); visual media (as a painter and photographer), and hand-made and wearable art, Marcy is a strong advocate for the arts. <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Marcy was on voice scholarship at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL for two years before transferring to UF to study English. Marcy’s music has been featured in talent showcases with Young Performing Artists in Wildwood, FL where she worked as vocal coach for a female musical trio, and her song “Come Home” was recorded in 2003 by singer Kristi Moore for Moore’s CD debut. <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Marcy has been a member of the print media since 1999 after giving up her dream of becoming a lawyer, and realized she could make more of a difference as a fair and un-biased reporter. <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Marcy volunteers time with The Chelko Foundation, a non-profit foundation established by the late artist Paul Chelko to empower women for a better life and existence and the foundation’s partnering charities. She is also a board member for The Chelko Foundation. <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The most recent program she’s become involved with is the Professional Leaders Project out of Los Angeles, CA.
